Canada’s Largest Icebreaker Reaches the North Pole

The Canadian Coast Guard Ship (CCGS) Louis S. St-Laurent, Canada’s largest and most powerful icebreaker, reached the North Pole on August 16, 2026, during its Arctic summer deployment.
