10 July 2026: The flagship of Standing NATO Maritime Group One (SNMG1), FGS Sachsen, hosted a Force Reception whilst alongside in Halifax. Hosted by COM SNMG1, Commodore Maryla Ingham RN and the Commanding Officer of FGS Sachsen, the reception welcomed military leaders, civic representatives and distinguished guests on board to celebrate the strong partnership between Allied nations and NATO's enduring commitment to maritime security.

Four warships from NATO’s Standing NATO Maritime Group One (SNMG1) recently called at Halifax, Nova Scotia, underscoring the Alliance’s enduring transatlantic bonds and commitment to maritime security and interoperability.
