"Commander Price has served with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve since 1926, and has made an outstanding contribution to the establishment of that force. Latterly he served with distinction on the staff of the Captain Commanding Canadian Ships in the United Kingdom, and for a considerable period, as Senior Canadian Naval Officer, London. He is now resuming a sea appointment as Commander of one of the Aircraft Carriers manned by the Royal Canadian Navy."
