"Lieutenant-Commander Stanley was the Commanding Officer of HMCS Georgian when a submarine was sighted which immediately submerged. Through his coolness and efficiency in handling his ship, an excellently conducted depth charge attack was carried out, which probably resulted in damage to the submarine."
