Significance

This badge design shows a ferocious wolfs head as its main device in reference to this animal's ability to single out a potential target, track it and regardless of the time involved, make a kill.

Remarks

Originally the American yacht Blue Water, she was commissioned into the RCN as an armed yacht in October 1940. She wore pennant 216 until she was paid off in May 1945.
