Significance

This ship commemorates the town of Revelstoke, British Columbia, so named after Lord Revelstoke, head of the banking firm of Baring Brothers. The badge design incorporates, the bull and the star from the Revelstoke arms.

Remarks

Revelstoke was a Llewellyn class minesweeper. She was commissioned in July 1944 and wore pennant 1373 until she was paid off in November 1945.
