Significance

The badge is symbolic of French Canada, combining the two traditional symbols of Canada and Old France.

Remarks

Originally the cruiser HMS Uganda, she was commissioned into the RCN in October 1944. Renamed Quebec in 1952, she wore pennant 66 until paying off in June 1956.
