(Glossary of Heraldic Terms)
This station is located on the island of the same name. The badge depicts the white-tailed tropicbird as its main device because it is indigenous to the area, nesting in crevices of the island's cliff faces. Locally, the birds are named longtails.
The rocky island represents Daniel's Head, the physical location of the station. It was originally used as an HF/DF site by the Royal Navy. Bermuda operated as a Naval Radio Station from July 1963 until July 1966. After unification, she became CFS Bermuda.
