The History of HMCS FUNDY (2nd)

Built by the Saint John Dry Dock Co., she was commissioned on March 19, 1954, and paid off March 31, the date of her transfer to the French Navy, which re-named her La Dunkerquoise.

After service in the French Navy, La Dunkerquoise was sunk as a live fire target in 2500 meters of water 22 miles off the coast of Dumbéa, New Caledonia on 20 December 1986.
