Significance

The device used for this badge is taken from Zoroaster’s Oracle. Zoroaster is said to have lived around 2000 BC. He was a great teacher and philosopher in the ancient Persian religion, which was monotheistic in nature.

Remarks

Fortune was a Bay class minesweeper. Commissioned in November 1954, she wore pennant 151 until she was paid off in February 1964.
